Overview
Kitty Beach is a Queer and Neurodivergent identifying poet, graphic designer, singer/songwriter and guitarist.
known for their love of bright colours and signature indie pop/folk sound, Kitty’s goal is to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation by connecting with those who may feel a bit “different”
Music
Music is in my blood, I feel it in my bones.
Using catchy choruses and poetic lines that dig deep, Kitty Beach creates acoustic tunes inspired by their own experiences with complex mental health, heartbreak, grief, politics and bullying. Their main focus is to transform negative emotions into positive ones.
Kitty is rapidly establishing their place within the Queensland and Victoria indie music scenes, after taking to the stage at 100+ open mics across the East Coast of Australia.
Early Life
Beach’s burning passion for various types of sound is no coincidence given their musical heritage. With Dad being a ‘punk concert master’ who soaked up the underground scene of the 80s, and grandma who was a professional pianist and opera singer for 20 years, it’s evident a star was born in victorias oldest in-land town on 19/09/2004.
Kilmore Victoria is where Kitty Beach was born and spent the first decade of their life. With limited arts and music Resources, no opportunity was ever taken for granted. During their high school years, singing competitions, singing/guitar lessons, a school rock band and musical productions became the foundation of Kittys creative career.
Other Creative Outlets
With their most recent tetarity qualification being in graphic design, Beach's love for the visual arts has always existed alongside music.
When Kitty discovered that poetry can be a powerful tool for intricate songwriting, ot was the answer to creating the closing track for their debut album. Just Fine the poem version went on to being exhibited across 3 Melbourne youth art galleries in 2025.
an unreleased album cover by Kitty Beach and Toby Black was also exhibited in the darebin youth art gallery (portrait edition) during May 2026.

Kitty Beach released their debut EP I Often Question What I'm Doing August 2024, and debut album Fit For A King in September 2025.
